scholarships for 10-week classes

The mission of the Rain City Clay is to engage and build community through clay.

We recognize that financial barriers are one way that limit access to participating in classes. If financial aid would enable you to attend one of our programs, please fill out the form below.

Rain City Clay offers 10 recipients 50% off 10-week classes each session.

Spring Scholarships have been dispersed.
You are welcome to apply for the upcoming session beginning in Summer 2026 - if a space opens up sooner, we will contact the next person on the list!

Application process > Rolling Quarterly

Rain City Clay offers a limited number of tuition assistance scholarships to help make our classes and studio opportunities accessible to more members of our community. Because these funds and class spaces are limited, we ask that applicants consider their circumstances carefully before applying. If you are able to participate at the full cost of tuition or studio access, we encourage you to do so and help keep these resources available for students who could not otherwise attend.

To apply for financial assistance, please complete the application form below. Once submitted, your name will automatically be added to the scholarship list in the order your application is received. Scholarships are offered in that same order as funding becomes available via email. All applications and applicant information are kept private.

Participants are generally eligible to receive financial assistance once per calendar year. Additional scholarships may be offered if everyone currently on the list has already received support.

If you are offered a scholarship but your registration code expires before it is used, you are welcome to submit a new application and rejoin the list at the bottom. If your name comes up and you are unable to take a class during that session, you may also defer and remain eligible for the following session.

We strongly encourage scholarship recipients to attend class regularly and make the most of the opportunity. If you miss more than 40% of the scheduled class meetings, you may not be eligible to receive another scholarship in the future.
