Take your studio practice a step further!
Step into a vibrant community of ceramic artists eager to expand their horizons, explore market opportunities, and essential studio processes! Our in-person seminar welcomes creatives of all levels, providing a nurturing environment, plus you'll have hands-on access to work with clay at RCC.
Each week, in this immersive "Shop Talk", unveils a new facet of important info & skills. Led by Deb, our sessions kick off with captivating image presentations, setting the stage for deep dives into studio processes – from glaze mixing to kiln loading, and from reclaiming clay to setting up your personal studio space. Together, we'll craft compelling artist bios and statements, learn to capture the essence of our work through photography, and explore avenues for bringing our art to market, whether through fairs, galleries, or online platforms.
No matter where you are in your artistic journey, "Shop Talk" is your supportive oasis. Deb's guidance ensures thoughtful suggestions tailored to your path as an artist. Plus, all visual materials, links, and resources shared during our sessions will be available online for three months post-class, ensuring continuous growth and learning.
While this class doesn't include clay demonstrations, it offers invaluable insights and discussions to fuel your artistic evolution. Join us as we sculpt dreams into reality and take steps on our ceramic journey!
