We are so excited to host Alice Kay Lee (she/her) as a visiting artist at Rain City Clay! Alice will be working in one of RCC’s semi-private studios for several months this summer. Alice is looking forward to having access to a studio space with unrestricted hours. She is excited to see what she can make when time isn’t a constraint to creativity.

We are so excited to host Denise Carrillo (she/her) as a visiting artist at Rain City Clay! Denise will be working in one of RCC’s semi-private studios for 3 months this spring. Denise has been a dedicated long time studio artist at our sister-studio Rat City Studios and we are looking forward to having her join us at RCC for a bit.

Get to know our newest Rain City Clay studio artist, Emily Turner! Emily is an educator and artist based in Seattle, WA. She dabbles in printmaking, bookbinding, ceramics, photography, and writing.

We are excited to have Larry Laughlin as a visiting artist at Rain City Clay! Larry will be working in one of RCC’s semi-private studios for 3 months this summer. Larry is a skilled potter who loves trying new things - in his pottery and his travels. Read more about Larry, what he wants to work on in the studio, and what inspires him.

Learn about visiting artist Brooke Felix. Brooke makes wheel thrown and handbuilt pottery and sculpture with hand-painted underglaze decorations inspired by pop culture, graffiti, and the environments she lives in and grew up in.

Kayla Jackson was a visiting artist at Rain City Clay in the fall of 2022. During her time as a visiting artist she worked on trying new forms, glaze testing, and creating a body of work for the RCC/Rat City Studios Holiday Show & Sale. Kayla is teaching an 8-week introductory wheel throwing class at RCC during the Winter 2023 class session.

Sudhi Tirnahalli is a Clay Artist, Musician and a Technologist born in India and currently residing in the greater Seattle area of United States. Sudhi was a visiting artist and instructor at Rain City Clay for a few months during Summer 2022.
