Two of a Kind: Multiples and Sets
Mon. 12:30-2:30pm
March 24th - May 26th
$450

In our "Two of a Kind - Multiples and Sets" explore how to take that one favorite form you love and turn it into a set. This class will cover techniques on how to create similar forms using both the wheel and handbuilding techniques, but also how glazing and surface can be tools to create a series of objects that belong together.

The first few weeks of class will focus on identifying what objects you want to make for a set - such as a set of mugs, or a place setting. Jen will demonstrate different ways to make various starting points - cups, bowls and plates. We will then identify the tools that will help you get there - from slab building and using molds, to throwing tools and techniques.

As we enjoy longer days and the budding of new spring flowers, let's open up and enjoy the spirit of spring in bringing joy to the table. There are so many ways to approach making objects that belong together - let's experiment and have some fun.
