Purchase Coleman Clay from Rain City Clay. When you do, Kiln loading/ firing fees are included in the cost of the clay. This includes a single bisque and a single glaze fire for each piece you drop off. We do not refire artwork.

Clay is for studio pick-up only. Please pickup only during your class or open studio from staff. You will need to show your purchase confirmation to your instructor. This will be emailed to your automatically when your purchase through the website is complete.

Limitations: Please keep your artwork within 15” in any direction

Our instructor Joe Wilkinson recommends this for sculpting!
A fine tooth/ slightly gritty throwing and handbuilding clay body with Kyanite grog.
Will resist firing stress and gain in strength as the mullite develops making it excellent for raku firings.

Coleman Raku also offers great performance at higher temps as well. In Cone 10 reduction the color will turn more medium/light grey. At Cone 10 the shrinkage is 13% and the absorption is 0.1% (Batch 092724-1B).
